About our Club
The club has a policy of promoting the aero modelling hobby in all it's
forms in a friendly and informal environment. Visitors to the club are
always welcome as are newcomers to the hobby who are looking for help
in developing their skills and in pilot training.
Club members are free to use the club facilities at any time but the main
flying day of each week is Sunday where there is always a good crowd enjoying
their hobby and socialising. Wednesday mornings are also a good day to
visit the club and fly with a number of our members.
The club organises a number of events throughout the year, including formal
competition events to which members of other clubs throughout the country
are invited. Visit our Events page to see what
events are coming.
For those wishing to learn to fly Radio Controlled Model Aircraft,
QMAC has qualified instructors to help get the novice to a level of competency
that will ensure enjoyment and satisfaction from our great hobby and reduce
the risk of expensive accidents with models and radio equipment.
Members of the public are always welcome at our field. If you are visiting
however, we do require adherence to our safety
rules at all times.
